HillSide Church Incorporated was founded in Forrestfield, Western Australia in 1936 and since its inception, has had a heart to impact the local community. Walridge Country Estate and HillSide Christian College Inc were established by the Church along with a strong connection to the local high school, Darling Range Sports College where various programs are successfully managed. Additionally the HillSide Campus hosts Tabor Bible College and The Well Café.
Continuing the heart and vision of HillSide Church Inc, a new community service was opened in October 2016, to provide emergency food hampers and pastoral care to those in hardship in our local community.
Through partnership with Margaret Court Community Outreach, HCCO is now a part of one of Perth’s largest stand-alone food distribution centres, with partner centres in Osborne Park and Kwinana. At present, these two centres assist more than 500 families and individuals per week, distributing around 5,000 meals (24 tonnes) weekly.
With a dedicated team of volunteers assisting with food packaging, preparation and assembling of food hampers and pastoral care, our passion is to go beyond the basic need of food by providing support and encouragement.
HCCO wants to assist by empowering people in need and providing hope for them until their current circumstances improve.
